Hi there, and welcome. I’m Dallas Hartwig. And I am not a guru.
I want to help you find a new normal when it comes to your health, but I don’t have all the answers. What I do have is extensive experience creating powerful short-term interventions (like the Whole30 program) that allow people to increase their self-awareness and to make long-term, amazing lifestyle changes.
What really drives me is developing new tools to make your life better. Not like, “oh, yeah, I guess I do feel better,” but actually better-better. Tangibly better. Real life better.
I’ve presented over 150 health-focused lectures and seminars, focusing on catalyzing positive change in people’s lives with sane, research-based recommendations for healthy living. In 2009, I co-founded the Whole30 program and the larger lifestyle concept, Whole9. (I am no longer an owner of the Whole30 program, but I continue to be proud of all the lives the Whole30 program has changed through the information in my books, It Starts With Food and The Whole30.)
I have appeared on Good Morning America, The Dr. Oz Show, The View, and Nightline, and my work has been featured in hundreds of print articles worldwide. I have completed all of the Institute for Functional Medicine’s Advanced Practice Modules, and I’m honored to be on the Board of Editors and Reviewers for the International Journal of Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. I’m also a member of the Advisory Boards for Paleo f(x) and Fitwall.
Now, I splice together my experience as a functional medicine practitioner, strength & conditioning coach, Certified Sports Nutritionist, and licensed physical therapist into my work as a health speaker and writer, focusing on creating tools to help people like you reclaim their health and improve their life.
